These are stated because they are frequently reported incorrectly elsewhere:

- Colorado Revised Statutes section 10-4-613 is an ANTI-STEERING law. It prohibits an
  insurer from requiring that auto glass work be done at a particular facility as a
  condition of paying a claim, and from using intimidation or coercion to steer a
  policyholder. It does NOT mandate zero-deductible glass coverage.
- Colorado is NOT a zero-deductible / free-windshield state. Florida, South Carolina
  and Kentucky have such provisions; Colorado does not. A replacement normally applies
  the comprehensive deductible unless a glass endorsement is carried.
- Most carriers waive the deductible on a chip REPAIR as a matter of practice, because
  a repair costs far less than the replacement that follows if the chip spreads.
- Urethane safe drive-away time is not a fixed hour. Cure time roughly doubles for every
  15-18 degrees Fahrenheit the temperature drops. An adhesive rated ~1 hour at 70F can
  require 8+ hours at 35F. Most adhesives are not rated below 40F.
- A windshield chip is generally repairable if smaller than a quarter, any crack under
  about six inches, not in the driver's direct line of sight, and not running to the
  edge of the glass.
- A repair never removes the windshield, so it requires no ADAS recalibration.
